WiiFit

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_iYBmAVuBns
This awesome video shows satire by making fun of the people who have bought the Wii Fit video game. They make a point that you really aren't doing anything but standing in one position. They also talk about how you look really stupid by trying to headbutt a soccer ball that really isn't flying at your head. They also make a point at why do people think that it is so fun to play hulu-hoop on an expensive WiiFit rather than paying ONLY $3 for a real plastic hulu-hoop.

Golden Shoot of Wall Street

This picture shows satire because it basically says that the government favors people of Wall Street versus people who needed the Bailout. The cartoon shows that the government favors the people of Wall Street because the fat guy is going to fall safely because he was provided with a para-shoot. The guy that is holding the anvil is from the Bailout and it shows that he is not wanted and is going to fall to his death because America only wants rich businessmen.

"Stuff White People Like"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GbTnoCEm6QE
This video shows satire by making fun of stereotypical upper-middle class white people. This video explains that this class of Americans try to be as "American" as possible by drinking white wine, reading New York Times, buying Apple products, making friends of all ethnic groups to try to be the least racist white person, and drinking non bottled water. They also say that this group likes to get divorced and go to therapy for their so called "problems".

Tiger Woods Satire

This cartoon shows satire from many different angles. It shows satire because Tiger Woods was the spokesperson for Nike and the big wigs of Nike are discussing the issues Tiger had a couple of years ago. They are making fun of him because Nike would pay him to do commercials and advertisements, they paid him to say "Just do it" which ironically that is what he did. It is like a slap in the face to him because one of his biggest sponsors is making fun/ joking about the situation.

Obama Satire

This picture shows satire in different ways by making fun of Obama. First, it is making fun of him because he is smoking and he always says that he is trying to stop. It also makes fun of him because if you read down more it says "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness". When you read the whole thing together it says, "I'm trying to stop Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness", which is in the Constitution. Many people think that Obama is trying to take away some of the freedoms of the people in the U.S. to they made an ironic poster that one has to do with a nasty habit and two about destroying our freedoms as citizens of the United States.
